On arrival to a distant land a Dragonborn just about to reach the age of adulthood has arrived alone with just a small bag of supplies and a mysterious ring. With little memory of the events before he started walking following the direction of a gentle breeze which seemed to reassure him he journey forward. It soon became apparent to him that this land was clearly not the land from which had come from as soon as he arrived into his first village. Looking for food he found the village seemingly abandoned with all the buildings about as big as he was there was no way he was going to get into them. Soon Zaneak saw a half-ling running terrified into town pursued by raiders and instinctively he charged to the defense of the guy defeating the raiders and driving them off. Thankful the village sparked to life as hundreds of halflings came out of their home delighted that the attacker had been defeated.

Zaneak stuck around the village for a while and learned a bit about the world he found himself in from the half-ling Marben who let him stay on his farm and helped out his everyday tasks. However Zaneak found farm work difficult because though carrying stuff was a simple task much of the equipment he had to us was easily broken and was in an even worse state after he attempted to fix it. Although soon the village after one too many accidents he seemed was more of a problem then he was worth and despite Marben’s best efforts to convince the villages Zaneak knew it was time to move on. On that very night Zaneak packed his few belongings and left the barn that had become his home. Before he left Marben stopped him to say goodbye and give him enough supplies for the trip ahead of him.

Zaneak spends the many seasons living a nomadic life helping people along the way but never staying for any period of time often leaving before any celebrations sometimes with a few generous food rations to continue on his journey. Trying to improve and train at every opportunity Zaneak soon become quite proficient at fighting with his trusted right hand ending many battles with just one swing. However not all battles ended in a fight some were over before they even began just by his mere presence sometimes. Though his life did seemed to have little meaning other than traveling in the direction the breeze told him to he wasn’t getting closer to his objective of finding a place where he belonged.

Eventually he arrived in silvercrest where the wind he had followed for so long suddenly went away. Confused on what exactly this meant he enter the city and walked through it appeared as though this still wasn’t the place he was looking for. Wondering through the various sections he soon found various orders the city was mobilizing for something. Waiting around for a while soon the wind picked up and started talking to Zaneak explaining how an order called the Silver Guard was looking for new recruits to join their order to unite the city against an evil that plagued the world. Uncertain Zaneak questioned as to whether he could truly be accepted the wind responded that many in the order are here because they have nowhere else to go but want to make a difference in the world. Not sure if it is the best decision but having no other option he joined the Silver Guard and see if through them he can find a place he do good and belong.
